MY PROFESSIONAL CAREER

MY JOB

UNIT 1:
LIFE PLANS

Perfect modals take a modal verb (could, should, must, might/may) and pairs it with a perfect tense phrase (have + past participle), which is how it gets its name. Don't let the vocabulary confuse you! When we say perfect modals, we are not saying that these are modals that are perfect.

UNIT 2:
HOLIDAYS AND
TRADITIONS

Reflexive pronouns are words like myself, yourself, himself, herself, itself, ourselves, yourselves and themselves. They refer back to a person or thing. We often use reflexive pronouns when the subject and the object of a verb are the same.

UNIT 3:
INVENTIONS AND
DISCOVERIES

Past unreal conditionals are often used to express wishes about the past. They often show regret, or sad feelings about something that happened in the past. Here's an example: If I had studied, I would have passed the test.

UNIT 4:
CONTROVERSIAL
ISSUES
In this unit we will talk about controversial issues that we can debate, show our agreement or disagreement, etc.
Controversial topics
Laws on abortion.
 Animal rights.
anti-vaccine movement.
Skepticism about climate change.
Gun control in the US Immigration reform in the United States.
Police brutality.
Single-payer healthcare.

UNIT 5:
BEAUTIFUL
WORLD

feature (also called an object or entity), in the context of geography and geographic information science, is a discrete phenomenon that exists at a location in the space and scale of relevance to geography; that is, at or near the surface of Earth, at a moderate to global scale. It is one of the primary types of phenomena represented in geographic information, such as that represented in mapsgeographic information systemsremote sensing imagery, statistics, and other forms of geographic discourse. Such representations of features consists of descriptions of their inherent nature, their spatial form and location, and their characteristics or properties.

Additional activity

I would like to go to Buenos Aires and see the obelisk.

 Description

It is a pillar-shaped stone monument, with a square section, with four equal, slightly converging trapezoidal faces, topped at the top in a small pyramid called a pyramidion. They were generally erected on a prismatic stone base. Ancient obelisks were carved from a single block of stone (monoliths). The first known one dates back to the time of Userkaf, pharaoh of the Fifth Dynasty of Egypt (c. 2500 BC). It is unknown how these monuments were erected, as there is no Egyptian documentation describing the method used.

Things you can do there

meet with many soccer supporters and enjoy celebrations when they win championships or important games.
Many people gather there to celebrate.

What do you do in your daily life that could contribute to the energy waste and pollution that causes global warming?

at home: sometimes I leave the appliances on for hours
at work: sometimes I throw garbage on the floor
at university: I throw garbage in the wrong bins
in transportation: using transportation already helped with CO2 pollution.

What I am doing now: reducing electrical energy consumption.
What I would like to do in the future:
make all people aware of the damage done to planet Earth.
what you think is not worth doing: using help from politicians and rulers for the cause.
