What effect do violent videos have on children?
Much research has been done on the impact of media violence on children. Although it is too simplistic to say that violent content makes children violent, there are studies that show that watching, playing and reading content with graphic violence can make children aggressive, asocial and lose sensitivity to these facts. This is especially true for children raised in an environment with other risk factors for future violence, such as an abusive home.

The technology that makes it possible to see violent events live through the networks is totally new. And videos are stronger than photos or texts. The truth is that we still do not know what consequences they have on children. And when it comes to children who are particularly vulnerable to the effects of violence in the media, the lack of information and research is very concerning.
